Waterproofing must cover the whole floor and rise 20–30 centimetres up the walls, and to 180 centimetres in the shower area, with sealing tape at corners and pipe penetrations. The fall to the drain must be continuous, 1–2%, tested with water before tiling rather than after. Concealed pipework is pressure-tested and photographed before being covered, so any future work doesn't mean opening walls at random. A serious team follows these steps even when nobody is checking, because they know what putting it right costs.
The 13 Septembrie area, between the Palace of the Parliament and Rahova, has communist-era blocks along the main road and newer apartment buildings. Close to the centre, many apartments are rented out or renovated for sale, so full renovations, interior fit-outs and quick make-ready jobs are common. On SmallJobs you also get offers from tradespeople in nearby areas such as Rahova, Cotroceni, Panduri.
