Graphic Design in Petroșani

About this service

Graphic design covers the visual identity and materials by which a business is recognised: logo and brand guidelines, business cards, flyers, brochures, catalogues, labels and packaging, banners and signage, social media templates, presentations, and event material. A proper job doesn't end with an attractive image: files have to be delivered in the formats each use requires — vector for print and signage, optimised raster for web — with the correct colour profile, bleed, and the margins the printer asks for. The difference between a designer and someone who edits images shows up exactly there, in the file handover and in how the material looks in print, not just on screen.

What to check before hiring a graphic design

Don't confuse design with trademark registration — they're different procedures
Keep the editable sources somewhere safe, for future work
Ask for vector files, not just finished images
Agree in the quote how many revisions are included and what extras cost
Write a short brief, with examples you like and ones you don't
Check that print artwork has bleed and the correct colour profile

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right designer?

On portfolio, not price: look at whether they've worked on material similar to yours, and ask for an example of a delivered file set so you can see exactly what you'll receive.

Can you work remotely with a client in Petroșani?

Yes, almost all design projects run online, through a brief, options, and written feedback. A visit is only useful when products are being photographed or an illuminated sign is being measured in Petroșani.

How much does a logo cost in Petroșani?

A logo with a few variants and the source files generally costs 550-3,500 RON in Petroșani, depending on the designer's experience, the number of concepts proposed, and how many adaptations are included.

What files should I receive at the end?

The editable sources, the vector version (AI, EPS, or SVG), PNG variants with transparent backgrounds, black-and-white and dark-background versions, plus minimal usage rules. Without a vector file, the logo can't be used at large sizes.

How many revisions are included?

Usually 2-3 rounds. Agree this in the quote, along with the rate for extra revisions — it's the most common source of misunderstandings in a design project.

What does print-ready artwork mean?

That it has bleed, safety margins, a CMYK colour profile, sufficient resolution, and fonts converted or embedded. Ask for the file as a print PDF, matching the requirements of the printer you've chosen.
