Web Development in Târgu Secuiesc

About this service

Building a website means more than a pleasant design: structuring pages around what customers actually search for, writing copy that explains the service, load speed, working properly on phones, contact forms that genuinely deliver messages, and basic search engine configuration. Typical work includes brochure sites for small businesses, online shops, campaign pages, rebuilding an outdated site, migrating to another host, adding functionality — bookings, payments, invoicing integration — and maintenance: updates, backups, and fixing problems. For most local businesses, a simple, fast, well-structured site delivers more than a complex one that's hard to maintain.

What to check before hiring a web development

Set out in the contract what is handed over: files, database, accounts
Ask for a short training session on managing content
Specify in the quote how many revisions are included
Don't pay in full up front — use payment stages tied to deliverables
Register the domain in your own name, not the developer's
Ask for access to hosting and the domain account from the start

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need monthly maintenance?

If the site runs on a platform with frequent updates, yes: security updates and backups prevent serious problems. For a simple static site, maintenance can be minimal.

Will the site appear in Google?

Indexing takes from a few days to a few weeks. A new site doesn't automatically rank for competitive terms — that takes useful content, clear structure, and time. Ask that at least the basic configuration is included.

What does responsive mean?

That it displays correctly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Since most visits come from phones, mobile speed and readability matter more than how it looks on a large monitor.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes, if the site is built on a platform with an admin area. Ask for a short training session at handover and minimal documentation — it saves you paying for trivial changes.

What happens if I want to change developer?

If you own the domain, hosting, and code, moving is straightforward. Require in the contract that files and the database are handed over in full at the end of the engagement.

Is an online shop worth it, or is a page enough?

It depends on the number of products and how often orders come in. For services and small catalogues, a well-built page with an enquiry form often converts better than a full shop.
