Web Development in Târgu Jiu

About this service

The most common problems with business websites are mundane and expensive: they load slowly on phones, they don't say in the first few seconds what service is on offer, the contact form doesn't work or lands in spam, and the contact details and service area are missing. A good developer starts by establishing what the visitor should do — call, send an enquiry, place an order — and builds the site around that action. They also make clear from the outset who owns the domain and hosting, who handles updates, and how the project is handed over. On SmallJobs you can request offers for new sites, rebuilds, online shops, or monthly maintenance alone.

Web Development in Gorj

Gorj County, in northern Oltenia, has its capital at Târgu Jiu — the city where Constantin Brâncuși left his monumental outdoor artwork. The county's economy has long been dominated by coal mining and thermal energy in the Motru-Rovinari area, but is undergoing a transition toward diversification. The Brâncuși cultural heritage, mountain tourism, and local services represent the growth directions for an economy in the process of reinvention.

Ask for a short training session on managing content
Specify in the quote how many revisions are included
Don't pay in full up front — use payment stages tied to deliverables
Register the domain in your own name, not the developer's
Ask for access to hosting and the domain account from the start
Check whether copy and photographs are included in the price

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does building a website take?

Usually 3-6 weeks for a brochure site, if the copy and images are ready. Most often the delays come from client materials not being delivered, not from the technical side.

Who owns the domain and hosting?

You should, in your company's or your own name. Ask for access to the domain account from the start — it's the one thing you can't easily recover if you part ways.

Are copy and photos included in the price?

Usually not, or only partly. Copywriting and professional photography are contracted separately. Check this in the quote, because it's the most common difference between two seemingly similar prices.

Do I need monthly maintenance?

If the site runs on a platform with frequent updates, yes: security updates and backups prevent serious problems. For a simple static site, maintenance can be minimal.

Will the site appear in Google?

Indexing takes from a few days to a few weeks. A new site doesn't automatically rank for competitive terms — that takes useful content, clear structure, and time. Ask that at least the basic configuration is included.

What does responsive mean?

That it displays correctly on phones, tablets, and desktops. Since most visits come from phones, mobile speed and readability matter more than how it looks on a large monitor.
