IT / Tech Support in Aiud

About this service

IT support means ongoing assistance for the equipment and accounts a small business or household relies on: managing computers and the network, handling email accounts and licences, verified backups, security updates, equipment monitoring, printer and till configuration, plus a fast response when something stops working. Unlike a one-off repair, tech support is usually a subscription: a set number of hours or call-outs per month, with an agreed response time. The model makes sense from about three to five workstations upwards, because it prevents outages rather than repairing them — a monthly tested backup and up-to-date patching eliminate most serious incidents.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does IT support include software licences?

Usually not. Licences for the operating system, office suite, antivirus, or management applications are paid separately, though the provider can administer them and purchase them on the company's behalf.

How do I protect against ransomware?

Through tested offline backups, user accounts without administrator rights, promptly applied updates, and email attachment filtering. No single measure is enough — the combination is what counts.

Can an existing network be taken over?

Yes, through an initial audit documenting the equipment, accounts, licences, and configuration. The audit is worthwhile regardless: it shows what's missing and what risks exist before you sign a subscription.

What exactly does a monthly subscription include?

Typically: remote user assistance, updates and periodic checks, account and backup administration, equipment monitoring, and a number of on-site hours. Check what's included and what is charged extra.

Who is liable if data is lost?

It depends on the contract. Ask for clear clauses on backups, their frequency, the provider's obligations, and how they report. Without those, responsibility effectively stays with your business.

Can you work with my company in Aiud long term?

Yes, most subscriptions are monthly with a notice period. It's worth starting with an audit and a short trial, then extending the contract if the response time suits you.
