IT / Tech Support in Drobeta-Turnu Severin

About this service

IT support means ongoing assistance for the equipment and accounts a small business or household relies on: managing computers and the network, handling email accounts and licences, verified backups, security updates, equipment monitoring, printer and till configuration, plus a fast response when something stops working. Unlike a one-off repair, tech support is usually a subscription: a set number of hours or call-outs per month, with an agreed response time. The model makes sense from about three to five workstations upwards, because it prevents outages rather than repairing them — a monthly tested backup and up-to-date patching eliminate most serious incidents.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does guaranteed response time mean?

It is the maximum interval within which the provider acknowledges and starts work on a problem, agreed in the contract and graded by severity. It is not the same as resolution time, which depends on the nature of the incident.

What is done remotely and what needs a visit?

Configuration, updates, accounts, application problems, and most user incidents are handled remotely. A visit is needed for hardware, cabling, network equipment, and new installations.

What makes a backup correct?

It should be automatic, in at least two separate locations with one off-site, and verified periodically by a test restore. A backup that has never been restored isn't a backup yet.

What happens with administrative passwords?

They must remain in the company's possession, not only the provider's. Ask up front for a list of administrative accounts and a handover plan, so changing provider doesn't lock you out.

Does IT support include software licences?

Usually not. Licences for the operating system, office suite, antivirus, or management applications are paid separately, though the provider can administer them and purchase them on the company's behalf.

How do I protect against ransomware?

Through tested offline backups, user accounts without administrator rights, promptly applied updates, and email attachment filtering. No single measure is enough — the combination is what counts.
