We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide full-time support for my mother for one week while I am out of the country. About my mother Elderly woman with dementia and Alzheimer's disease Parkinson's disease Diabetes Urinary catheter Unable to walk and requires assistance with all transfers and mobility Needs close supervision throughout the day and night for her safety Care responsibilities Personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting Catheter care and monitoring Assistance with meals, hydration, and medication (following instructions) Blood sugar monitoring and diabetes support (experience preferred) Help with transfers (wheelchair/bed/chair as needed) Companionship, reassurance, and cognitive support Light household tasks related to her care, such as preparing meals and keeping her room tidy Monitoring for any changes in her condition and contacting family or medical services if necessary Who we're looking for Experience caring for elderly people with dementia, Parkinson's disease, or similar conditions Calm, patient, compassionate, and dependable Comfortable providing personal care Experience with diabetes management and catheter care is highly desirable First aid or healthcare qualifications are a plus This is a temporary one-week position. We are looking for someone who can provide attentive, respectful care and ensure she is safe and comfortable while I am away.
